Baptist Health Community Grant Program

As part of Baptist Health’s ongoing commitment to engage and support communities throughout Alabama, and in alignment with our mission to improve the health and quality of life of the individuals and communities we serve, we are pleased to offer competitive funding through the Baptist Health Community Grant Program. These grants support community‑based initiatives that promote health and wellness and address priority needs affecting individuals and families. 

Funding will focus on initiatives aligned with the top priorities identified in the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), with a particular emphasis on enhancing access to care. The grant program is one way Baptist Health supports community‑driven efforts to strengthen the communities we serve.

Process

Portal Registration

All individuals interested in applying for a Baptist Health Community Grant must first register in the online grant portal.

Expression of Interest (EOI)

The grant application window will open on June 1 at 8:00 a.m. All applicants are required to complete an Expression of Interest (EOI), which provides a brief overview of the funding request and the proposed program.

Upon submission, applicants will receive a confirmation email. The deadline to complete the EOI is 11:59pm on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Full Proposal

On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, organizations that submitted an EOI will receive an email notification indicating whether they are invited to submit a full application.

Organizations selected to advance must submit a full application, including all required supporting documents, by 11:59pm on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
