Dr. John Young is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Brookwood Baptist Health Precision Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. His specialties include:

Dr. Young’s Training
Dr. Young received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, graduating in the top 10 percent of his class. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Mississippi in Jackson and a fellowship in sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. Young is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association and Alabama Orthopaedic Society.
