Bio
Dr. Kyle Packer is a fellowship-trained surgeon with Baptist Health Walker Hospital. He performs a wide range of procedures to treat a variety of health problems and believes in using minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. His specialties include:
- Colon and small bowel surgery
- Gallbladder surgery
- Gastroesophageal reflux surgery
- Gastroparesis surgery
- Endoscopy and colonoscopy
- Complex hernia surgery
- Bariatric surgery

Dr. Packer’s Training
Dr. Packer earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and received his osteopathic medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed general surgery residencies at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania, and Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. He completed a fellowship in advanced gastrointestinal minimally invasive surgery at Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown, Maryland.
